EstateGuru teases Netherlands expansion
EstateGuru is set to open a new office in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, as the peer-to-peer lending platform continues to expand across Europe and beyond.
During the first quarter of 2022, EstateGuru entered the UK market for the first time, with a new office in Manchester. The company also opened offices in Yerevan, Armenia, and Berlin, Germany.
Writing on LinkedIn, EstateGuru’s chief executive Marek Pärtel (pictured) confirmed that “yes, EstateGuru will keep on expanding and the next target has been identified: Netherlands and Amsterdam it is, stay tuned!”.
Pärtel told Peer2Peer Finance News that he could not disclose any more details at this point about the Amsterdam operations.

Last month, Mihkel Stamm, chief operating officer of EstateGuru, told Peer2Peer Finance News that the platform plans to continually launch in new countries each year to create a “cross-border business of value to borrowers and lenders to build the one single ecosystem”.
“We can go to one or two new countries a year and the long-term vision is as many as possible, it’s about choosing the countries next,” Stamm added.
Writing on LinkedIn, Stamm doubled down on this goal, stating that a key part of the company’s expansion plans involves having “boots on the ground”.
“We need to have someone locally who knows every corner and alley of the city, knows the local people, and provides us with the market knowledge to improve our data sources and algorithms,” Stamm wrote.
“Therefore, to continue fulfilling our vision and keep building a single, pan-European real estate investing and lending ecosystem, we will continue expanding our operations to new countries.”
