Mintos plans to launch an investor academy that will provide educational content to help lenders with their investment strategies.
The European alternative lending marketplace said this academy will be a guide for investors to build long-term wealth on their own terms.

“We’re announcing the upcoming series of educational content with a variety of investment topics, adjusted for different levels of experience,” Mintos said in a post on social media platform Facebook.
“It will tackle key subjects that are necessary for everyone looking into becoming an investor or sharpening their existing knowledge. We trend the passive income – stay tuned!”
Mintos separately revealed that its lenders funded over 650,000 loans worth €128.3m (£108.1m) last month and earned more than €3.5m in interest at an average rate of 9.47 per cent.
The three largest markets for investments in loans were Spain, Russia and Mexico.
Peteris Mikelsons, account management team lead at Mintos, highlighted that lending conditions have normalised in Kazakhstan. Last month, the lending marketplace removed cautionary measures a week after implementing them amid political and social unrest in the country.

“After a sharp increase in the cost of liquefied petroleum gas at the beginning of 2022, a series of massive protests began in Kazakhstan,” Mikelsons said in a blog on Mintos’ website.
“There were signs that the unrest will be of a short-term nature, but still, the main objective was to protect investors’ interest, so on 7 January, we limited access to loans issued in Kazakhstan.
“However, after a week when the situation normalised and we received proof of payment from all lending companies from Kazakhstan, we removed the cautionary measures.”
