Assetz Capital hires two new relationship directors
Assetz Capital has appointed two relationship directors and refreshed its bridging and development offerings.
The peer-to-peer lending platform has hired Paul Williams to cover the Southwest and South Wales and James Evans to operate mainly in the Merseyside and surrounding area in the Northwest.
Williams has 18 years’ experience in several management roles at HSBC and joins from Hodge Bank where he spent seven years as a development finance manager, while Evans has left Santander where he has worked as a relationship manager for the past 18 years.
Assetz Capital is now offering development finance from 6.9 per cent for terms up to 36 months while its residential bridging rates begin from 0.6 per cent.

“It’s great to be adding the very best talent to the team; James and Paul bring significant lending experience to the table, and they will add huge value to the group.
“We always look to grow every aspect of our commercial, bridging and development offerings, so it’s absolutely key to recruit outstanding individuals like James and Paul to help take our solutions to market en masse.”
