LendInvest focuses on huge recruitment drive
LendInvest is focusing on recruiting people in all areas of the team as it plans to launch more products and build on its technology this year.
Peter Wallis, who joined the alternative property lender as vice president of technology in September, said alongside its initial public offering on London’s AIM in July last year, LendInvest has made significant investments in the company to enable it to grow the technology team.
He said the lenders’ initial focus this year is on the recruitment of new people into all areas of the team and “fleshing out the plans for delivery of the key strategic business projects for 2022”, which include launching new products and building on its current technology.

“We’re excited to play a large role in delivering and launching new products, as well as building on our current technology to automate more processes making it simpler for brokers to submit deals and for our teams to deliver them,” Wallis said in a blog on LendInvest’s website.
“We hope the technology team will grow from 55 to 100 people by the end of the year.”
In October, LendInvest made two senior hires, Omega Poole as head of capital raising and Robert Pritchard as head of fund management.
