Finitive has appointed two fintech veterans in senior roles, as the private credit marketplace seeks to grow its data-driven deal matching service.
Jon Burlinson has been named chief information officer, while Joshua Masai has been hired as chief product officer at the firm.
Burlinson was previously chief technology officer at Silicon Valley firm CRE Simple, where he designed and implemented a deal-management Software as a Service (SaaS) platform for commercial real estate, which processed more than $8bn (£5.97bn) in transactions within its first eight months.
Meanwhile, Masia was formerly vice president, head of data & analytics at iCapital Network, where he directed the firm’s strategy for the management of operational and analytical data, helping to drive the firm’s growth to $70bn in assets within three years.
Both Burlinson and Masai have experience working with artificial intelligence and robo-advice.
“This has been a year of tremendous expansion for Finitive, and we are thrilled to be adding Jon and Joshua, two of the financial technology industry’s leading talents, to our leadership team,” said Finitive founder and chief executive Jon Barlow.
“Their deep expertise in machine-learning algorithms, software productization and SaaS platforms will play a key role in helping us leverage our technology capabilities to bring greater transparency, speed and simplicity to private credit transactions.”
