Funding Options names new chief financial officer
Funding Options has named Ian Savage as its chief financial officer in the latest change to its senior leadership team.
Savage joins the business finance aggregator from fintech firm Finantix.
He is the latest addition to Funding Options’ overhauled management team.
Its founder Conrad Ford left in 2019 and was replaced as chief executive by Simon Cureton, while Aleks Kudic joined as chief technology officer last year and Stuart Lawson was named chief revenue officer.
Funding Options has also been expanding into other areas.
It launched a green finance marketplace to connect lenders with businesses that have strong environmental credentials last month.
The marketplace will also allow businesses to facilitate the purchase of ‘green assets’ such as solar panels or clean vehicles and connect green businesses with the right funding partner.
Funding Options has also unveiled embedded finance technology for lending partners to allow them to integrate their decision making tools onto its platform and speed up approvals.
“Joining so soon after the company has put stakes in the ground in terms of real-time funding approvals with its Funding Cloud platform and sustainability with the green finance marketplace is invigorating,” Savage said.
Funding Options has also revealed that £500,000 worth of loans have been approved to more than 10,000 UK businesses through its platform.
