Credit Kudos adds open banking expert to legal team
Credit reference agency Credit Kudos has appointed open banking specialist and ex-Barclays executive Manoj Peiris as its new head of legal.
Peiris (pictured) was previously legal counsel at Barclays UK, where he advised on and negotiated the implementation of the CMA Retail Banking Market Investigation Order 2017 and PSD2. He has more than 16 years’ experience in legal roles at financial institutions, and has worked closely on fintech integrations at Barclays and other firms.

His appointment signals Credit Kudos’ new focus on enhancing its proposition for partners, from fintechs to high street banks.
In his new role at Credit Kudos, he will lead the fintech’s engagement with regulators and industry bodies to help inform future policy changes.
