Equifax UK hires managing director for debt services businesses
Equifax UK has appointed American Express veteran Phil McGilvray as managing director for its debt services businesses.
McGilvray, who has more than 20 years in financial services including 18 years in commercial roles at American Express, will lead the Equifax debt services businesses in the UK and Spain, including data recovery specialist TDX Group and public sector joint venture Indesser.
He joins from debt purchase company Cabot Financial where he was chief operating officer, and will now report to Patricio Remón, president for Europe at Equifax.

“Phil is a highly respected industry figure, with over two decades of experience leading international teams in financial services,” said Remón.
