Funding Circle and Zopa feature in latest Women in Fintech Powerlist
Funding Circle, Zopa and Blend Network employees have been featured among top innovators in the latest Women in Fintech Powerlist.
The annual list, compiled by fintech trade body Innovate Finance, recognises women leading innovation in financial services.
It highlights 200 women working across fintech from more than 1,000 nominations.
Lisa Jacobs, Europe managing director of Funding Circle, Natasha Wear, P2P chief executive of Zopa and Blend Network’s chief strategy officer Roxana Mohammadian-Molina are featured in the senior leaders category.
This recognises though who are “truly driving forward change within the fintech space above and beyond their day-to-day role.”

Veronika Ostreyko, commercial and strategy manager for Funding Circle, is named as a rising star and Swati Lay, the platform’s chief technology officer, is recognised for her role as a tech professional.
Natasha Jones, head of communications and policy at Funding Circle and Zopa creative director Charlotte Wilkinson are named among top marketers and communicators.
“Our fintech sector has so many outstanding female role models – from founders, investors and investment bankers, to start-up entrepreneurs and technology experts – and it’s important that we take the time to honour and celebrate all of those at the forefront of change,” Charlotte Crosswell (pictured), chief executive of Innovate Finance, said.
“As our sector grows and matures, we will constantly strive to attract a diverse pool of talent across the fintech ecosystem.
“The women celebrated will not only be integral to the success of the future of fintech, but will be key to inspiring the next generation of female leaders.”
