Ingram served on the board since the initial public offering in 2015, initially as chair of the audit and valuation committee and then as chairman since December 2018.
Proudfoot was appointed to the board on 1 December 2020 and will work with Ingram to ensure a smooth handover over the next four months.
“I am honoured to have been offered the role of chairman and I look forward to helping to contribute to the company’s future success,” said Proudfoot.
“I should also like to add my thanks to Kevin for all he has done for the company and wish him well for the future.”

“It has been a privilege to lead the board since 2018, and to contribute as a non-executive director since 2015,” said Ingram.
“I am delighted that Graeme Proudfoot will take over as chairman with effect from the conclusion of the 2021 AGM. He brings a wealth of investment trust and asset management experience and I wish him every success in the role.
“As a shareholder, I am confident that the company is in good hands, with a refreshed and capable board and an excellent team at Victory Park Capital.”
