Duff & Phelps hires restructuring specialist for senior director role
Duff & Phelps has named Kris Carpen as senior director in its restructuring advisory practice, in a role which will focus on mid-market turnaround and transformation.
Carpen has more than 20 years’ experience in the restructuring space. He previously spent three years as a director of restructuring at Alvarez & Marsal. Prior to that, he worked with Monitor, the English healthcare regulator, and before that he spent more than 14 years with KPMG’s restructuring team.

“Kris has worked across a number of restructuring areas ranging from cash and working capital management, independent business reviews, operational turnarounds as well as trading administrations,” said David Fleming, managing director and head of UK restructuring advisory at Duff & Phelps.
“He has an impressive engagement record in which he has successfully preserved and maximised value for a variety of stakeholders and he will be a welcome addition to the growing restructuring advisory team here in London and throughout the world.”
