Pollen Street names new head of business development
Pollen Street Capital has appointed Hugh Cutler as head of business development.
Cutler joins the alternative investment manager, which runs the Honeycomb Investment Trust, after spending 25 years involved in capital raising and working in public and private markets.
Prior to joining the team, Cutler led global distribution for Affiliated Managers Group, where he helped to grow the platform into new product lines, client types and geographies.

He previously held senior distribution and solutions roles at Och-Ziff, LGIM and Barclays Global Investors.
“Given Pollen Street’s reputation as a leading expert in making impactful and transformative investments that deliver sustainable and consistent returns, I am delighted to be joining the team, and look forward to helping investors meet their goals,” Cutler said.
Lindsey McMurray, managing director at Pollen Street said Cutler would help deepen relationships with investors and growth the business.
Pollen Street Capital already works with a range of alternative lenders, including several UK-based peer-to-peer lending platforms.
It recently partnered with Downing’s property finance division to fund residential development finance and bridging deals for developers.
