Zopa has been named the top peer-to-peer provider of the year for customer service, following a public vote.
The world’s first P2P lending platform won the top P2P gong in the 2021 Moneyfacts Consumer Awards, which rewards great products and consumer care over the past 12 months.
RateSetter was given a highly commended nod, while Lending Works was commended for its customer service offering.
More than 130,000 consumers voted in the awards, by sharing feedback with Moneyfacts on their experiences with a range of customer-facing financial firms across the UK.
The financial data firm then combined this feedback with its own assessment of the technical products available.
“Thank you to the 130,000 consumers that shared their views with us about the best brands for customer service during the past 12 months,” said Michelle Monck, head of digital at Moneyfacts.
“The Moneyfacts Consumer Awards recognise those banks, building societies, insurers and energy providers that are the absolute best in their respective categories.
“We congratulate all of the winners and those that have been commended and highly commended, and thank each of the consumers for taking the time to vote.”
