Crowd with Us has launched an app for investors to update them on the progress of the property investments they have made through the platform.

The firm said the CWU investor app also shows lenders their e-wallet balance, can create bank transfer codes and allows the user to view and access all of their saved documents.

Crowd With Us said investors using the app can set up push notifications for new investor updates, new deal launches, repayment updates and e-wallet top up needs.

“Feedback from our valued and dedicated investor network has highlighted the importance of communication for each investment and project,” said Robert Pasternak, director of Crowd with Us.

“In response to this we created an automated system to improve the communication channel between developers and investors.

“With this successfully implemented, we’re very pleased to be announcing a new investor update app, one of the first in the property investment sector, to bring updates directly to your phone.”

A number of other P2P firms have also developed apps for their customers.

In July, Rebuildingsociety launched an app for lenders to access funds, withdraw money, purchase new loans and sell loans on the secondary market, all once they have passed the platform’s appropriateness test.

And in February, European P2P lender Mintos launched an investor app, which it said would increase investor engagement and security.
