Property and hotel development investment provider Cogress has appointed Liron Hadar as its new investor relations director.

Hadar (pictured) has returned to Cogress after a short stint at specialist insurance provider Hiscox, where he was consulting as a private client manager.

In his first spell at Cogress, Hadar spent five years working as a senior sales and investor relationship manager.

Hadar, who is an expert in managing high-net-worth and sophisticated investors, will now be responsible for the company’s growing network of investors and team of investor relations managers.

This follows Cogress becoming the exclusive funding partner in the UK and Europe for Latin American hotel chain Selina.

Last month, the alternative finance provider launched an investment portfolio for the group aimed at high-net-worth and sophisticated investors.

“With the new and unique opportunities we’re offering our investor network, it’s a very exciting time for Cogress,” said Tal Orly, founder and chief executive of Cogress.

“Liron has a proven track record delivering exceptional investor experience and I can think of no one better placed to help continue our success.

“We’re absolutely delighted to have him back on board.”

“After a short time away, I realised how much I missed the Cogress team and the innovative opportunities they provide investors,” Hadar said.

“With Selina and other exciting plans Tal has, I’m really looking forward to driving Cogress’ continued growth.”
