Mintos unveils new auto-invest options

Marc Shoffman Global News, Industry News, News, Top 3 Auto Invest, Mintos, Mintos Strategies

Mintos has altered is auto-invest product to give peer-to-peer investors more choice over the level of risk they want to take.

The European peer-to-peer consumer lender, which lets investors back loans from originators on its marketplace, is now offering three automated portfolios under its Mintos Strategies product rather than one.

It is offering a conservative strategy that invests in the highest rated loans, a diversified version that backs loans rated A+ to C- and a riskier high-yield product that prioritises higher interest rates.

All have a maximum exposure of 15 per cent in each company and have a buyback guarantee as long as there is demand on the platform.

The strategies are only available for investments in euros.

Mintos said half of its active investors use the automated portfolio since its launch last year.

“To further improve our product offering, we listened and analysed investor behaviour, and one common theme emerged, investors wanted more choice when it came to investing preferences,” Mintos said in a blog post.

“New investors will be able to get started quickly with a diversified portfolio according to their chosen profile.

“Experienced investors can use this opportunity to reduce the complexity of running multiple custom strategies.”
