Prior to this he spent four years as head of the corporate transactions team at RBS covering London and the South.
“Already well versed in the small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) lending space, Gary is a strong addition to the ThinCats team,” said Mike Hackett, head of sales at ThinCats.
“Gary will be working closely with corporate finance advisers, private equity sponsors and local business leaders to deliver sustainable funding solutions for mid-sized SMEs in London.”

“I am excited to be joining the ThinCats lending team and am looking forward to helping build upon their success to date,” Nutley said.
“I know how important it is that SMEs are given the opportunity to find suitable funding from long-term partners.
“ThinCats is leading the way in enabling mid-sized businesses to access institutional capital.”
ThinCats has been rapidly expanding its team in recent weeks. Earlier this month, the alternative lender hired Gareth Rumsey as head of data analytics, and Stefan Nubert was appointed associate director for Wales, the South West and the Midlands in February.
