Mintos launches new mobile app for investors
European peer-to-peer platform Mintos has launched its first mobile app for investors, in response to user demand.
More than 3,500 users helped to test the beta version of the app, with different versions rolled out in multiple releases. Following feedback from its investor community, Mintos said that it decided to focus on “enhancing existing features of Mintos’ service” but with additional features that would increase investor engagement and security.
In its current form, the app allows access to investor accounts and investment monitoring, and it will soon add a feature that will provide investors with insights for smart investing.
Marcis Gogis, Mintos’ head of product led the development of the mobile app.
“We were pleasantly surprised at how active Mintos investors were in their willingness to participate in testing the app and providing extensive feedback,” he said.

“The strong growth of Mintos is based on the active involvement of the Mintos community of loyal and trusted investors in the development of our products and services.”
The app launch follows a year of milestones for the company, which saw the company valuing itself at €100m (£83.9m) earlier this year, and expanding into new markets.
“At present day, Mintos serves more than 250,000 investors from 91 countries worldwide, and these numbers are increasing rapidly,” said Martins Sulte, chief executive and co-founder of Mintos.
“The primary purpose of the Mintos mobile application is to provide investors with faster and easier access to their accounts. In the future, we believe our mobile application might be the primary access for using our services.”
