Funding Options unveils partnership to speed up SME funding process
BUSINESS lender Funding Options has announced a new partnership with Open Accounting specialists Validis, to speed up the external funding process for small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
The partnership will allow Funding Options to use Validis’ data preparation functionality to make more informed lending decisions and speed up access to finance.
This is the second such partnership to be launched by Funding Options in recent months. In November, the SME finance aggregator joined forces with predictive company intelligence platform DueDil to make the finance application process more efficient for both borrowers and lenders.
Funding Options said that this new arrangement with Validis will help bring the company “another step towards better financial outcomes for UK businesses” by removing friction at key points in the application process.

“We’re excited to sign this partnership with Funding Options and help improve lending outcomes for UK businesses,” added Nik Haidar, UK general manager at Validis.
“Funding Options are racing ahead with their vision to make funding accessible, fair and easy, and that is a journey we are keen to support. As financial services become increasingly digital, making sure all aspects of the lending journey are as efficient as possible is a crucial step. Joining the Funding Options lending ecosystem brings together best in class technology that will help businesses get access to the finance they need to scale their efforts.”
