P2P Global Investments changes name
P2P Global Investments (P2PGI) has changed its name to Pollen Street Secured Lending.
The alternative finance focused-fund said on Tuesday that the name change has been approved by the board and is effective immediately.
“The board believes the new name more accurately reflects the ongoing strategy of the company and shows the continued support and commitment of the investment manager to the performance of the company,” said independent chairman Stuart Cruickshank.

The company’s shares will trade under the new name on the London Stock Exchange from Wednesday morning. Shareholders are unaffected by the changes and the investment policy remains the same under the same manager, PSC Credit Holdings, the company said.
Last week, a half-year report from the investment trust showed that its legacy portfolio continues to drag on its profitability.
The fund has been transitioning away from peer-to-peer loans to other specialist alternative assets since 2017.
Pollen Street Capital acquired a controlling stake in P2PGI’s previous manager MW Eaglewood in 2017, creating an enlarged investment manager called PSC Eaglewood Europe.
