Growth Street hiring spree snaps up three senior staff members
GROWTH Street has hired two senior staff members from other alternative lenders to lead its data and corporate development teams.
The peer-to-peer business lender has recruited Aaron Samuels as head of business intelligence from LendInvest and Aman Mehra has joined from MarketInvoice as head of corporate development.
Samuels previously helped lead the development of LendInvest’s data and business intelligence infrastructure, while Mehra was responsible for MarketInvoice’s investor strategy.
Mark Chamings has also joined the ranks from Close Invoice Finance as head of credit.

Greg Carter (pictured), chief executive of Growth Street, said the hiring spree was helped by the recent £17.5m investment in the platform
“Our latest funding round showed we have ambitious goals and Aaron, Mark and Aman are going to be a big part of us achieving them,” Carter said.
Growth Street closed a £7.5m institutional funding round in January, which was followed by a further £10m of investment last month.
The platform said it will use the proceeds to improve its credit decision systems and expand its sales team.
Since it launched in 2014, Growth Street has facilitated more than £100m of borrowing in England and Wales.
It recently pledged to channel £60m to SMEs across Scotland, in a bid to help tackle the funding gap left by banks.
