RELENDEX has continued its hiring spree with the appointment of Claire Newman as its head of lending operations.
Newman (pictured) joins the peer-to-peer property lender from Masthaven Bank where she was head of underwriting in the short-term lending department.
“At Relendex, we are going through an exciting expansion stage and were keen to recruit an experienced financial services professional who has the attributes to shape the lending team,”Paul Sonabend, executive chairman at Relendex, said.
“Newman has more than 10 years of specialist lending experience with a detailed understanding of the bridging and development finance sectors.

Newman began her career at Instant Access Properties, before moving to FiLGroup in 2008 where she was a property development assistant.
“I am delighted to be joining the Relendex team during this period of development,” Newman said.
“This is also an interesting time for the lending market, and it is great to be working alongside a team of highly experienced individuals.
“I am confident that my experience of being involved in a wide variety of bridging and development loans will help Relendex progress in the next stage of its journey.”
