CREDIT referencing agency Equifax has partnered with the NatWest Great British Entrepreneur Awards to support and recognise small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

The NatWest Great British Entrepreneur Awards says that, for businesses to survive and thrive, entrepreneurs must be able to make sense of their data.

Equifax has one of the largest sources of consumer and business data in the UK, which it says it can provide insight into the economy and help entrepreneurs make informed decisions to drive performance.

“2018 was a record-breaking year for the NatWest Great British Entrepreneur Awards. Aside from receiving close to 3,000 entries, this year has been pivotal in developing and accelerating what we do into far more than just an awards programme, but developing into a connected eco-system of entrepreneurs, mentors and supporters.

“I’m continually surprised and delighted by the stories our finalists tell me about doing business, securing investment or support as a direct result of being involved with the NatWest Great British Entrepreneur Awards. Working with partners and sponsors like Equifax, committed to supporting entrepreneurship is another step forward in allowing us to do more of that.”

“It’s essential for them to receive the help and opportunities needed to thrive and grow – this is an important part of our approach to supporting UK businesses. In our relationship with NatWest, we’ve seen first-hand how it supports entrepreneurs and we’re thrilled to partner with them to combine our capabilities in this space. We look forward to working with them to deliver a bespoke partnership which is aligned with their five key pillars of entrepreneur strategy.”
