Theresa May’s fintech ambassador to chair panel at The FP Show
ALISTAIR Lukies (pictured), who is Prime Minster Theresa May’s business fintech ambassador, is to chair the fintech discussion panel at The Finance Professional Show.
Lukies founded a platform connecting branches of government before going on to start Monetise, a system enabling established banks to build digital businesses.
“Money itself has evolved and how we now live in a world in which technology businesses rule,” Lukies said.
“The financial sector is witnessing a swarm of piranhas rather than one giant shark coming for their market, but it’s not all bad news as the UK is at the forefront of fintech.

The Finance Professional Show takes place at Olympia London on 7 November at Olympia London and is set to attract almost 100 lenders.
Last month, Zopa co-founder James Alexander was confirmed as the keynote speaker at the show.
