Landbay continues expansion with Midlands hire

Emily Perryman Industry News, News, Property Landbay, Midlands, new appointment, Rob Stanton

LANDBAY is continuing its expansion with the appointment of Rob Stanton as a regional account manager for the Midlands.

Stanton (pictured) joins the buy-to-let mortgage lender from specialist bank Paragon, where he spent 15 years as a senior underwriter and regional manager working with intermediaries in the Midlands.

He will be focusing on strengthening Landbay’s existing relationships with brokers throughout the region, as well as creating and building new relationships.

“I am looking forward to joining Landbay at a time where the specialist market is growing at an impressive rate, and I hope my experience of the sector can help the continued growth and success of the company,” Stanton said.

It comes after Landbay revealed it was planning to increase headcount by 70 per cent by the summer to support its growing pipeline of deals. In June, it appointed Ian Hall as regional account manager for the North.

Paul Brett, managing director intermediaries at Landbay, said the expansion of the team reflects Landbay’s success “with record lending volumes each month and expectations of profitability in the next quarter”.
