ThinCats opens Birmingham office to strengthen footprint in the West Midlands

Marc Shoffman Industry News, News Birmingham, Damon Walford, p2p, ThinCats, West Midlands

THINCATS has opened an office in Birmingham as it looks to boost its presence in the city.

The business lender said its new West Midlands base, located on Colmore Row, Birmingham, will bring it closer to its finance partners and help attempts to cement its position at the forefront of alternative finance provision across the region.

It comes after the platform reported a record month of loans totalling £14.7m.

ThinCats will retain its operational headquarters in Ashby de la Zouch in Leicestershire.

“We are working closely with numerous Birmingham based advisers and organisations committed to funding small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs),” Damon Walford (pictured), chief development officer at ThinCats, said.

‘The city is undergoing unprecedented levels of inward investment – we want to be on the frontline of this revolution by supporting SMEs in their growth plans.”

“We’re incredibly excited about our expansion into Birmingham. We’re building a vastly experienced team of funding experts and look forward to working with the business community in the city as it enters a new era.”
