Assetz Capital appoints relationship director for the North

PEER-TO-PEER lender Assetz Capital has expanded its presence in the North West and North East of England with the appointment of Steve Grant (pictured) as relationship director for the regions.

Grant, who joins from United Trust Bank, will be responsible for expanding the business platform’s introducer network and dealing with finance requests and constructing facilities for clients.

He brings more than 30 years of business development experience, having also worked in Barclays’ real estate division and for HSBC.

“Assetz Capital has a truly entrepreneurial approach to lending,” Grant said.

“The ability to think outside the box and provide unique forms of finance is the reason Assetz has such a strong reputation in the market, and as a result, the client base is growing at a rapid rate.”

Damien Druce, director and head of intermediary sales for Assetz Capital, said hiring decent relationship director’s was key to the lender’s success.

“In a period of rapid growth for the company, it’s key that we continue to hire quality regional directors to handle the growing influx of enquiries we receive,” he said.

“Steve’s experience in the property finance space speaks volumes about his ability, and we’re confident he will have a huge impact at Assetz Capital.”
