ASSETZ Capital has continued its recruitment spree with the appointment of Mark Roberts (pictured) as north west relationship director.

Roberts joins from Goldcrest Finance and will be based at the business peer-to-peer platform’s new Manchester headquarters.

He will be responsible for new business development and relationship management, offering development and bridging loans to his clients and brokers, as well as buy-to-let facilities, secured business finance and commercial mortgages.

“Mark will play a crucial role as we look to satisfy the rapidly growing demand for our services in the north west,” Rob Pailin, managing director at Assetz, said.

“He brings a wealth of experience across all key areas of lending, and we are confident he will be a huge asset to our team and our clients in the future.”

Roberts brings more than two decades of commercial property experience, having worked at Nationwide Commercial and Investec.

“Assetz Capital has seen outstanding levels of growth, and is quickly becoming known across the industry for its quick and tailored approach,” Roberts said.

“It is a fantastic time to be joining such a dynamic lender, and represents a new challenge for me as I look to contribute to this success.”

It comes just a week after Assetz Capital appointed a head of intermediary sales to help move into the advisory space.
