FUNDING Circle has unveiled a new look comprising a redesigned website logo and motto.

The peer-to-peer business lender says its aim is to become the “first choice” for small businesses and investors globally, describing the “heart of the brand” as the phrase “made to do more.”

“We want to celebrate the people who’ve turned their passions into livelihoods, supporting their families and local communities,” a blog on the Funding Circle website said.

“Ordinary people doing extraordinary things, pushing the economy forward.

“Our aim is to become the first choice for small businesses and investors globally – helping you to create more jobs and earn more for your future. We’ve come a long way together, but our journey has only just begun and we’re really excited to see what the future will bring.”

The platform, which gained authorisation from the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in May, has provided 32,000 loans to small businesses, backed by 69,000 investors.

Average returns on offer are currently at 6.5 per cent.
