Assetz Capital hires ex-RBS banker to join North West team

ASSETZ Capital has boosted its northern presence with the appointment of RBS’s Jake Hiskett as senior relationship manager in the North West.

Hiskett (pictured), joins the business peer-to-peer lender from the high street bank, where he spent five years as a commercial manager.

Prior to that, he worked at Lloyds Bank for five years as a bank manager after joining its graduate scheme.

“As businesses continue to look to alternative finance for funding, we have seen an influx of enquiries over the last few months,” Stuart Law, chief executive of Assetz Capital, said.

“It is important that we continue to bolster the Assetz Capital team so we can continue to serve these businesses, and with this in mind, I’m happy to welcome Jake to the team. He has a wealth of experience in the commercial lending space, and has a great understanding of the North West economy.”

Hiskett will join the growing team in the North West and will be situated at Assetz House in Manchester. In his role as senior relationship manager, he will deal with finance requests and facilitate deals for clients and new customers.
