Updated Crowd2Fund app includes IFISA management tools
CROWD2FUND has relaunched its app to include Innovative Finance ISA (IFISA) management features for investors via their smartphones.
The app, which was the first peer-to-peer debt crowdfunding platform on Apple’s App Store when it launched in 2016, will now allow investors to track and manage their investment portfolio from the palm of their hand. The P2P business lender has reported that daily active usage increased by an average of 30 per cent since the update went live a few weeks ago.
“We’ve spent a lot of time refining our app to make the user experience with our platform as seamless and easy as possible,” said Crowd2Fund’s chief executive Chris Hancock. “Users should be able to manage their investments from anywhere, and as one of the only P2P lending platforms that offers a mobile application, we are able to offer wider access to our platform for investors.”
The app allows all users to activate and manage their IFISA portfolio and to review and invest in all campaigns that are live on the platform. Once funds have been invested, users can review the existing companies within their portfolio as well as the terms of each loan. The app’s dashboard also provides information on monthly investment and repayments, current balance of portfolios, average APR, and future potential earnings.
P2P platforms have been slow to prioritise mobile app technology, preferring instead to focus on the desktop experience and overall usability instead. However, earlier this year Funding Circle announced that it will be launching two new apps this year, including a new Android app and an update of its existing iPhone app.
