ASSETZ Capital has hired three former bankers to strengthen its nationwide coverage.

The peer-to-peer business lender announced on Thursday that Scott Pamflett (pictured) has been appointed as relationship director for the South East, having spent 11 years at Santander at a business development director. Prior to that, he spent 20 years at Barclays Bank.

David Hales has also been named as a relationship director and will be based in Southampton. He joins Assetz Capital from Bank of Scotland where he held the role of associate director.

And Fraser Clark has been appointed as regional support director, supporting the platform’s UK North Region Network, which covers Scotland, Northern Ireland and North East England. He will be responsible for the approval, processing and completion of loans, and will act as the key point of contact to all professional parties, including brokers, valuers, solicitors and borrowers. He previously worked for Lloyds Banking Group as an associate director.

“With offices established in the North West, South of England, Scotland and Northern Ireland, we already have a strong nationwide coverage,” said Stuart Law, chief executive at Assetz Capital.
