P2P lenders are being offered discounts on ski apparel if they help fund a £200,000 loan to Planks Clothing on Crowd2Fund.
Online retailer Planks Clothing, which secured a £100,000 venture debt loan from the P2P business finance provider last year, is seeking funding again to manufacture a range of clothing that will incorporate recycled materials.
As well as 13.5 per cent interest, investors are also being offered 25 per cent off items when they invest up to £499. Lenders can also get the discount plus any t-shirt or beanie when they invest £500 to £999, while investing between £1,000 and £3,999 has an added reward of the money off plus any hoodie or sweatshirt.

Anyone lending £4,000 or more will get the discount as well as any outerwear product.
“This season we have kicked off an exciting partnership with a specialist outerwear research and development firm, experts in their field of technical product development, Hugh Clow, director of Planks, said.
“This will allow Planks to move to a new factory which will result in better product and a reduced cost of goods.
“With the lack of flexible financing options available from traditional banks, we are proud to partner with Crowd2Fund.
“The venture debt product allows Planks to repay the loan in line with cash receipts from customers.”
