Assetz Capital investors make £25m in returns
ASSETZ Capital has announced that its investors have earned £25m in returns since the platform’s launch four years ago, equating to an average of eight per cent interest across all loans.
The peer-to-peer lender has 20,000 registered and active investors on its platform who have channelled £309m to businesses across a range of industries including small- and medium-sized enterprises, bridging and development sectors.
Assetz Capital’s chief executive Stuart Law said on Thursday that the news represented a “milestone” for the entire P2P industry.

“Over the years, we’ve been able to attract both retail and institutional investors with loans which have appealed to different types of investors and their risk appetites,” said Law. “We not only see the £25m as a mark of our own achievement but also as an industry milestone.
“Our vision is to democratise lending opportunities by offering private investors an alternative to more traditional investment options.”
Assetz Capital has been focusing on growing its business, with a number of new hires and an expansion of its existing broker network.
